Historically, Clerkenwell was renowned for being a key location for the Industrial sector due to the architecture of its buildings, largely being Warehouse properties. Nowadays, it is one of London’s most charming submarkets whereby many of the industrial businesses that once occupied the location, are now dominated by creative, design and technology businesses and the properties are predominantly in office or residential led uses whilst maintaining all of the natural warehouse character that London occupiers desire.

Clerkenwell has also become one of London’s main showroom hubs, where it hosts a variety of showrooms within the flooring, lighting and furniture industries to name but a few. Each year, Clerkenwell hosts Clerkenwell Design Week attracting Design led business nationally and internationally to the immediate location.
