Midtown.

Midtown, a term coined to describe the pocket between the West End and the Square Mile. Positioned in the London Borough of Camden, Midtown incorporates Bloomsbury, Holborn and Chancery Lane.

The area is one of the main legal districts of the Capital, and the centre for English law, both historically and in the present day. As well as its strong links to the Law Courts, the area is known for the printing presses of Fleet Street. Fleet Street began as the road from the commercial City of London to the political hub of Westminster, dating back to the 14th Century.

Bloomsbury, notable for its gardens and squares, was developed by the Russell family in the 17th Century into a fashionable residential area. To this day it is still known for its cultural links, home to the British Museum, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and the University of London.
